What is a Disney vacation pool home rental?
A Disney vacation pool home rental is a privately-owned home that is fully equipped with a pool and other amenities for your enjoyment. You can enjoy your Disney vacation your way and have more than enough space for you and your family to feel at home.   Our Disney vacation home offers the privacy, space and luxury that a single or two room hotel suite just can’t.

What is the difference between a Disney vacation home and a hotel or resort?
Unlike hotel rooms, a Disney vacation home is self-catering. It is cleaned prior to your arrival and then upon your departure. You are responsible for maintaining the vacation homeduring your stay, and there will not be a daily maid service or fresh towels provided. It’s a home away from home—just like going to the cottage, well, Disney. Our vacation home is equipped with everything you will need, including a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for your use.

Where are you located? How far are you from Walt Disney World?
We’re in the Kissimmee area of Orlando and 10 minutes to Disney World’s main gate.

Are vacation home rentals better for families?
We think so. My family and I stayed at several vacation villas on many past Disney vacations that we’ve enjoyed in the Orlando area. We liked it so much, we decided to buy one.  Vacation homes are perfect for families. You have much more space, so there is no crowding and you’re not stuck sitting on a bed watching TV in a cramped hotel room or two. All the essentials of home are right at your fingertips, like a full kitchen and laundry, and it includes some extras like your own private pool, a games room, free distance calling and wireless internet.  Visit Walt Disney World, or any of the local attractions while still having all the conveniences and space that you would enjoy at home.

How big is your home?
Our Disney home is spacious; it is just over 1800 square feet. It has one of the most popular floor plans in the area with an open concept living area and lofty ceilings. There’s a lot of room to spread out and relax.

Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately, no, we do not allow pets. We have decided to restrict pets in our home to help maintain a desired level of cleanliness for our guests and to respect guests with severe pet allergies.

Is smoking allowed in the your vacation home?
No, smoking is not permitted in our Disney home. However, smoking is permitted on the outdoor pool patio.

How old do I have to be to rent your vacation home?
You must be at least 24 years of age.

I don’t have a PayPal account and have never tried paying someone using PayPay before; how do I do it?
Once you have received your emailed booking confirmation, you may submit your payment to complete your reservation. You can easily and conveniently make a payment directly to pam.bryan@disneyhome.ca from this PayPal page. You can also watch a short video about the process. All payments must be made in US dollars (USD).

Can I pay using any other alternate methods, like VISA?
Yes, we use Paypal to accept payments. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or transfers funds directly from your debit card or bank account. Send your payment to pam.bryan@disneyhome.ca from this PayPal page.

What attractions are located close to your vacation rental?
Our Disney home vacation rental is 10 minutes to Disney. We are located centrally between Orlando south and Kissimmee. We are close to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Sea World, Discovery Cove, and Legoland. If you golf, there are plenty of world class resorts just waiting for you to step out onto the green. If you like the sun and surf, Cocoa Beach is only an hour away and Tampa is an hour to the west. For the science gurus, the Kennedy Space Center is located in Cape Canaveral. For an entertaining dinner out, be sure to check out Medieval Times or Capone’s Dinner Theater. We’re 5 minutes from Hwy 192 where there’s no shortage of gift shops or restaurants. Come stay with us for your next Disney vacation and enjoy a vacation getaway, your way.

Amenities

What is included in our Disney vacation pool home rental?
Our vacation home is fully equipped with modern appliances: a full kitchen, full size washer/dryer, microwave, coffee makers, blender, etc. All linens and towels are provided. A starter roll of toilet paper will be provided in each bathroom along with a trash bag in the container. You will need to provide all your own consumable items.

Is there a washer and dryer available?
Yes, we do have a washer and dryer. You must supply your own laundry detergent.

Do we have to supply anything while we’re staying in your vacation home?
Yes, this is a self-catering home. You will have a starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom along with a trash bag in the container, but you will need to supply all consumable items for during your stay. There are plenty of grocery stores located 5 minutes away on Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (Hwy 192).

Is there a maid service available?
Yes, an additional maid service can be provided upon request at an additional charge.

Does your Disney home management company offer concierge services?
Our vacation home management company has an office check-in service that is open 6 days a week, and can offer assistance to you as needed. They also provide helpful documentation in the home that contains details about the home, your stay, discount Walt Disney World park tickets, and 24 hour support if needed.

Does your Disney home vacation rental have a private pool?
Yes, and it’s private.  It has a fence and foliage. The pool and deck area is completely screened and faces sunny south, so the pool keeps warm on its own. For the cooler days, we also have a pool heater available to guests at an additional charge.

Is there a lifeguard on duty?
No, there is no lifeguard on duty. Upon registration, you assume responsibility for your stay, which includes the pool area. Non-swimmers and little swimmers MUST be supervised at all times. No horseplay on the deck and no glassware in or immediately around the pool area.  There is also a patio door alarm as an added safety measure. We want all our guests to stay safe.

What if my pool needs to be serviced?
Each pool is serviced on a weekly basis and checked prior to your arrival. However, if attention is needed between services and an issue arises, simply call our management company during working hours and they will send out maintenance to have it serviced.

Is the pool water heated?
There is a pool heater, and the pool can be heated for an additional charge of $25.00 a day for the length of your stay. Pool heat is recommended during the winter months. Pool heat must be requested prior to arrival to be guaranteed.

Do the doors to the pool have an alarm?
Yes, by state code vacation properties must have an alarm on all doors leading to the pool area and/or a baby fence around the pool area. It is against the law to disarm these alarms during your stay. These alarms could save a life.

Will my home have TVs in all of the bedrooms?
Yes, there is a TV and a DVD player in each bedroom. There are also TVs and DVDs in the living and games rooms.

Do you have a games room?
Yes, there is a games room that includes a pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, darts and a PlayStation.

Arrival

Do we have to pay for the Disney home vacation rental upfront?
When placing a reservation, a $200 deposit, for each week booked, is required to hold and confirm your stay. This deposit will be applied to your balance owing, which is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. There is also a fully refundable damage deposit of $300.00 due 8 weeks prior to your stay.

What sort of security deposit is required for your Disney home rental?
There is a fully refundable security deposit of $300.00 due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If any damages occur, you will be notified and will be responsible for those damages. If our vacation home is found to be intact and with no damages, your security deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days of your departure.

What are your cancellation policies?
A written cancellation notice must be received no less than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to avoid paying the full rental balance due; however, the booking deposit will be forfeited. If the cancellation is received between 6 to 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the signatory will be refunded 50% of the total rental balance paid. If a cancellation is received 4 to 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, the signatory will be refunded 25% of the total rental balance paid. If cancellation is received up to 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, the signatory will be refunded 10% of the total rental balance paid.

If I miss my flight and don’t arrival until the next day, do I still have to pay for the first night’s stay?
Yes, since these are privately own properties, they are already paid for and reserved for you prior to your expected arrival date.

What is there is a hurricane before I arrive?
On the rare chance that a hurricane moves through central Florida affecting the Orlando/Kissimmee area and causes damage, you will be able to re-schedule your reservation for a different time within 1 year from the original arrival date.

What should I pack for my vacation?
Your stay is self-catering. You must provide all consumable items: toiletries, personal hygiene products, food, laundry detergent, and cleaning items to be used during your stay.

During Your Stay

Where do I check in?
You check-in with our Orlando home management company.  A welcome package with instructions and vacation home details will be provided both from the management company upon your arrival, and from us 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

Is your Disney home rental manager’s office open 24 hours? What if I arrive very late?
No, the management office is not open 24 hours. They have an after hour’s check-in box at their office door. Your arrival pack and house keys will be inside.

What if I have an emergency after hours?
If you have an emergency requiring Police, Fire or Ambulance – Dial 911. If there is an issue that cannot wait until the next day during normal operating hours, simply call our rental managers, wait for the emergency prompt and you will be connected directly to the on-call attendant.

Can I extend my stay after I arrive?
If our Disney home is available, we can extend your stay with a 24-hour notice.

Can I have a late check-out?
If our vacation home is available and the cleaning service has not been dispatched, it may be possible to grant a later check out time. Please note, any time past 12:00 p.m. incurs an additional charge.

What if I have to check out early, do I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no, since the home rental has already been paid in full, we are unable to grant a refund for early check-outs.
